I can't say enough about how happy this made me; to come home and find these smiles in the living room. I'm sad that it's over but I'm going to make an effort to bring this bulb back. It's going to take some work on my part as these are tropical plants and Wheaton, Illinois is hardly tropical. But this beauty in the dead of winter is something I'd like to try to recreate. I finally took the dead and dried bits of Carole's Valentine's bouquet to the compost pile this week, too. I have a lovely clear glass vase to use. I'm thinking a bouquet from the grocery store is in order.
