This is a recent development. Over the last 10 days, she's decided this corner of the bed is where she's going to sleep. I have no idea why. Mija still sleeps next to my left side. I still awaken to her purrs and fuzzy face next to mine, but there is another occupant at the lower right corner.
I'm not objecting. It's just kind of funny that it took her 4 years to get to this point. I come home from work now and she's not where she usually is. She's on the bed. In fact, she's not sleeping in her boxes anymore, at least not for the last 2 weeks. I won't toss all of them, but I will remove about half of them. It will make walking around the living room much easier.
It almost seems as if my vacation changed something. Both girls are more animated and want to be around me more since I came back from Virginia. Perhaps that's behind this, the desire to stay near. Whatever the case, I'm loving it.
