Moving Right Along

This cross-stitch project is nearing completion. A few more days of stitching and I will be finished with the stitching part.

I had, when I started this, decided who would receive it. As it's early in the year, I could give it to them for their birthday. Then, one of my daughter's former roommates got engaged over the holidays. I don't know that I would be invited to the wedding, but it would not surprise me in the least, knowing this gal. She's having a destination wedding. The destination is not that far from here that, if invited, I wouldn't be able to attend. I could drive out and come back in a day. This would make a unique wedding sampler for them. If not for them, then perhaps for someone else getting married this year.

So, once it's done, I will set it aside. It won't take but an afternoon to finish. If, by November, it's not claimed for a wedding, then I can go with the original recipient. I like how things come together.
