Finished And Awaiting the Recipient

I finished the bell pull over the weekend. From Friday through yesterday, I made time to stitch. The end was in sight and that was enough of a spur to entice me to finish the project. Usually, I'm inspired by the desire to see the finished project and to tailor that to the recipient. But, as I mentioned before, I'm unsure, at this point, who is getting the finished piece so it has to be left unfinished for the time being.

Friday's stitching progressed the "E" farther.

I did quite a bit on Saturday. I've been feeling kind of blah and stitching improved my spirits and gave me a task to do.

Sunday, it was finished as I watched some of the football games on TV and then discovered part 2 of Ken Burns' "Prohibition" film.

It's quite lovely, now that it's done. I'm going to tuck it in a drawer to wait out the year. The floss will be separated according to color and put into the plastic bags in my old sewing box. I have an idea for using up this floss, but that's a project for later.

Next up, crochet. The girls really don't pay too much attention to floss but yarn... This could get interesting.

Beverage:  Darjeeling tea
