Elbow Room

I often get a "tsk tsk tsk" because I tolerate a lot of stuff that I don't need to. I only find out that I didn't have to tolerate it after I bring it up and someone says, "You silly. We can fix that." Then I wonder why I waited so long.

One this I had to tolerate was the flap down across the top of the half door in the Jeep. You see how the window covering is put on? It's all Velcro covering the frame. About 3 years ago that middle flap fell down and would not reattach to the velcro under the window. It was still rather sticky, however, and, if I was wearing something long sleeved, would attack that clothing item with gusto. I'd find myself velcro'd to my car window.

That's all changed with the new top. All the Velcro holds like a dream and, joy of joys, I get my arm rest back. I have been enjoying yet another upside to a new top.

Joni Mitchell sang, "Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got 'till it's gone." Well, I knew and I'm thrilled it's back.

Beverage:  Huckleberry tea
