It Makes a Good Blog Post

With the nice weather outside, I am inspired to make nice inside. Litter boxes cleaned and litter removed from the house. Floors in the bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen have been mostly swept. Man, that's a lot of dust. Dishes are very nearly done and then the kitchen counter and stove will be wiped down. The kitchen table, long a repository for piles, has been cleared off, partially. Those two boxes taken to recycling. I dusted. That means moving things. That means, where once something was, it's now clear.

She's sitting on the organ that once belonged to my grandfather. He was a decent player. Mom made sure we all took piano lessons, something I'm rather grateful for. Playing this organ is not like playing piano, however, and I never could get the hang of it. I can't bear, right now, to part with it, though, since it was Grandpa Al's. So, things sit on top of it. I moved them to dust. Dusting is an activity I don't do every week so what I was doing required investigation and when a spot opened up on the top of the organ...
