One of the places I go on a somewhat daily basis is the Astronomy Picture of the Day. "APOD" has a daily photo or video or graphic with a brief paragraph which describes what you're seeing with links for more information.
Yesterday's was nothing short of breathtaking. I hope you'll take 5 minutes out of your day and watch it.
