A hot, sticky weekend started with errands. Part of the grocery shopping involved getting cough syrup. I finished the prescription stuff but I don't need the heavy duty, tastes so bad it has to be good for you, liquid. I seem to be, lots of knocking on wood here, not having that much trouble with my allergies. It may be an old wives tale, but I think the amount of time I've had to be outside in this heat has baked those germs right outta my system. I'll take it. I don't know anyone who wants a racking, hacking cough or an ear ache.
I put the cough syrup in the medicine chest and realized I have a nice collection of these.
I'll bet you do, too. Cough syrup and Pepto-Bismol come with cups so, in theory, you can measure out just what you need. I rinse out the empty bottle and recycle it without giving any thought to the cup. I tossed these in the recycling bin but I thought you could use them as disposable shot glasses for a picnic. They have both teaspoon/tablespoon measurements on one side and ounces on the other. You'd just need to make sure they were thoroughly clean. The thought of Pepto in my amaretto and 7...ewwww.
Beverage: Edinburgh's Finest tea
