Stitching in the Moments

When I travel for work, I try to plan for the inevitable down time. This trip was no different. I'd wind up with 20 minutes here, 30 minutes there, 15 minutes at another time. There was an abandoned farm that I had to inspect so I received permission from the landowner to use it as a base when I finished one place sooner than planned but not so soon that I had time to go back into town and sit at the hotel until my next appointment. I couldn't be seen from the road so it wouldn't draw attention to me just parked there.

I managed to read all three of the magazines I brought with me so I hauled out my current cross-stitch project and worked on that. Below is the progress over two days.

When I finally got home on Sunday night, I decided I just wanted to sit and be with the girls. That's the purr-fect time, pardon the pun, to get quite a bit completed.

After all the stress, this was very relaxing and, I could scratch ears when necessary.

Beverage:  Sprite

  1. I envy your patience for needlepoint although having feline assistants must help.
